Director, Candidate Marketing & Onboarding
Pfizer is hiring a Director, Candidate Marketing & Onboarding
ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the VP, Candidate Experience, the Director Talent Marketing and Onboarding will lead marketing and onboarding efforts to attract top talent to the Pfizer organization and facilitate their introduction into the Pfizer organization. They will develop Pfizer’s employer marketing strategy, including the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) messaging and determine how and where to apply and modify it to raise awareness of Pfizer as a top employer across divisions globally. They will work to leverage internal & external social media and job application sites (eg, Pfizer Careers, LinkedIn, Glassdoor) to position Pfizer and key roles to potential applicants. They will work to understand targeted talent pools and work to develop messaging and channel strategy that delivers the relevant message to potential hires through the most effective channels. They will manage content and use of Pfizer Career page as key channel. In addition to marketing messaging, they will manage the execution and evolution of Pfizer’s global onboarding experience. The initial platform has launched, and now requires tracking of performance, management of the experience, as well as identification for ways to improve.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team comprised of members from GBS, digital, and PX supporting onboarding and marketing
- Work with external global agency and internal business partners to develop and manage the evolution of the EVP messaging
- Identify opportunities to update and modify the EVP to increase relevance and connect with specific talent audiences
- Partner with social media platforms and internal websites to leverage messaging and posting of positions to source key talent
- Bring innovative thinking and solutions to how we position Pfizer as an employer of choice across business functions
- Establish KPIs to track progress of marketing and onboarding efforts, leveraging insights to drive go forward strategy
- Establish ROI of marketing and sourcing investments
- Manage costs and budget related to marketing and onboarding expenses
- Share best practice across the Candidate Experience function and share resources to achieve the goals of the wider business as needed
- Where requirements of the business go beyond the agreed levels, provide the business with costed options for the business to provide additional funding
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BS degree and 10+ years of experience, MBA preferred
- Demonstrated ability to use data to formulate a strategy, and demonstrated ability to implement that strategy
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources and workload in a complex environment
- Demonstrated ability to partner with People Experience and Business leaders and experience in developing a TA strategy and plan for multiple business units
- Ability to think differently and willingness to try innovative solutions
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- A good understanding of technology and innovative solutions within the Candidate Experience environment
- A good understanding of agile project methodology
- Ability to lead matrixed, cross-functional work teams across multiple regions, cultures etc.
- In-depth understanding and experience with marketing, sourcing, talent processes, talent assessment, and metrics
- Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence Senior Leaders
- Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Marketing and/or communication experience
- Change management experience
- Agile project management experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry
