Analyst, Leadership & Learning (CLE and Professional Development Administration)


The Analyst, Leadership & Learning will provide support in the delivery of the Firm’s End-to-End Leadership & Learning (formerly Professional Development) processes; assist with the implementation of harmonized Leadership & Learning processes to achieve efficiency, quality, and enhanced learner, facilitator, and program owner experience.


Support the delivery of leadership & learning programs through learning implementation support, learning management system administration, and learning hours tracking, among others

CLE Administration:

  • Assist program owners in ensuring CLE eligibility of courses by reviewing materials (e.g. agendas, presentation deck, speaker CV, etc.) updating and providing record of attendance, evaluation forms, attorney affirmation forms, CLE code and/or CLE Language; processing CLE fees; and submission of CLE application forms
  • Show proficiency on rules and requirements to different MCLE jurisdictions; serve as subject-matter experts of MCLE requirements for Illinois, New York, Texas and California; conduct research on MCLE rules and requirements for jurisdictions outside the team’s normal scope of support; and submit applications when necessary
  • Oversee compliance, renewal and payment of the Firm’s Provider status to the different governing bodies and assist with audit activities
  • Monitor compliance and updating CLE/CPD/CPE credits for fee-earners and lawyers
  • Send timely reminders to fee earners advising of accumulated CLE/CPD/CPE hours and any outstanding requirements before their due date
  • Generate certificates of attendance, CLE/CPD/CPE reports for clients and fee-earners, and related program forms/documents as required
  • Assist with data entry into viCLE, the Firm’s CLE tracking database and the maintenance of official CLE files, including electronic filings
  • Monitor team mailbox and respond to CLE/CPD/CPE related inquiries from program owners and fee-earners

Learning Administration:

  • Provide end-to-end support for courses by coordinating training venue, facilitators, technology platforms, training materials, budget, surveys, attendance, and post-program activities
  • Set up courses on learning management system, coordinate preparation of course promotion materials, and enroll participants to a course
  • Upload or update learning materials on learning management system
  • Upload or update learning records and generate reports
  • Address general inquiries and troubleshoot access-related concerns to learning technology platforms
  • Partner with the Leadership & Learning Specialists and In-Market People Partners to deliver a more integrated and seamless approach to Leadership & Learning service delivery
  • Collaborate with People Systems to maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy of recruitment-related data
  • Perform other functions as may be assigned by immediate manager from time to time



  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in CLE or a training role in a law firm or other professional services environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to interact across all levels of the Firm
  • Highly collaborative, effectively working with others in a multi-cultural environment to achieve team success
  • Strong client service orientation, problem solving skills and judgment about when to refer issues or problems to others
  • Able to learn CLE requirements in multiple jurisdictions
  • Proficient in MS Office, and agile in learning and adapting to new processes and or technology
  • Experience in viCLE a plus
