So, what does it take to be a DTCC Financial Operations Associate Director?
The Financial Reporting & Accounting department advises on the accounting treatment for complex transactions, performs all accounting, and prepares all external financial statements and regulatory reports.
Financial Operations is responsible for several operational finance functions. This includes the timely and accurate preparation and distribution of customer invoices for DTC, NSCC, Deriv/SERV, FICC, DTCC Solutions and various other products and services, payment of vendor invoices including allocation of tax, VAT/GST, application and management and collection of customer payments, travel and expense reimbursement, processing of client contracts and vendor onboarding. The team supports audit and risk initiatives by providing process overviews, supporting documentation and recommendations for improvement. Finally, SME support is provided for finance related projects.

The Associate Director role is responsible for overseeing and management of various Financial Operations functions. This includes but is not limited to management of staff, managing transaction volumes, ensuring performance targets are met, supporting audit/risk activities, maintain policy, procedure and process documents. Produce metrics to measure and manage team performance, execute various management related tasks timely and accurately including payments, write-off adjustments, etc. Provide ongoing feedback and support to develop staff performance levels. Collaborate well with all other areas of the business to ensure services need are being met. Work on ad hoc projects and tasks as provided by management.
