The Client Intelligence group manages client experience measurement programs, identifying actionable insights by gathering and analyzing client and industry data.

As a Market Research Associate Director for the group, you will manage various primary and secondary research programs in close partnership with the Strategy and Business Development team and an enterprise-wide intelligence ecosystem. By collecting, consolidating and analysing “voice of client” (VOC), you will effectively communicate insights that enable our organization to make data-driven and client-centric decisions.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Audit and monitor client data and voice of client (quantitative and qualitative) to generate actionable client insights and effectively communicate them to a wide range of internal stakeholders through effective presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint) and clear, compelling client intelligence briefs and reports.
  • Foster a broader understanding of voice of client within DTCC by writing articles and commentaries on client intelligence and distributing them through various internal communication channels.
  • Partner with Relationship Management, Strategy and Business Development to align client intelligence with other business insights, contributing to intelligence reports (Quarterly Business Review, Intelligence Briefs, etc.) for key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Act as the main Client Intelligence point of contact for Relationship Management and Sales teams in the day-to-day design, analysis and reporting of structured VOC campaigns/surveys.
  • Ensure the implementation of research best-practices and supports the communication of insights through highly effective and visually impactful reports.
  • Monitor key client activities (e.g. corporate actions, P&L, media coverage, etc.) to enable a more comprehensive understanding of their shifting business priorities.
  • Contribute to the design of market launch plans for new products and services, supporting the development of business cases with market sizing and segmentation programs.
  • In close partnership with other internal subject-matter experts, supports the development of DTCC’s client experience (CX) measurement programs aiming to align and cross-reference CX metrics across the organization.
  • Build and leverage an internal and external network of SMEs to continually monitor client and market developments and solicit stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage day-to-day communications with third party research vendors and analysts.
  • Advise the organization on research methodology and best practices as required.


Talents Needed for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related market analysis experience within the financial services industry
  • Ability to interpret and effectively present client research data to stakeholders

The Chief Client Office (CCO) is focused on providing a consistent Client Experience across all business lines and geographies, enabling enhanced Client Satisfaction, Revenue Growth and Business Line Success.  The CCO function includes Sales, Partners, Relationship Management, Integration, Marketing & Communications and Sales Analytics & Operations.
