Library Brand and Innovation is looking for two Community Engagement Consultants. These Consultants will serve as liaison between library branch locations and community partners. They will offer community engagement guidance and support to branch personnel and build awareness and visibility of Library Services with potential and current stakeholders. We are seeking outgoing, enthusiastic, energetic, articulate, positive, and diplomatic individuals who have schedule flexibility and are able to travel around the county on a regular basis. Candidates should have strong public speaking skills and be comfortable interacting with stakeholders in any situation.
Graduation from an accredited four year college or university;
AND
One year of experience directly related to the assigned program.
OR
An equivalent combination of education (not less than possession of a high school diploma/GED), training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted below
AND
Possession of a Valid Drivers License.
Performs professional work planning, organizing, developing and coordinating administrative aspects of assigned programs. Develops and administers program policies and procedures, and monitors work processes to achieve program objectives.
Light work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.

Response/Recovery Activities:
Employees are required to participate in response/recovery activities in response to an emergency or natural disaster affecting County operations and/or its citizens. In such situations, every effort will be made to maintain operations, but employees will be assigned to carry out response activities suited to their skills and capabilities. *MON*
In the event of an emergency or disaster, an employee may be required to respond promptly to duties and responsibilities as assigned by the employee’s department, the County’s Office of Emergency Management, or County Administration. Such assignments may be for before, during or after the emergency/disaster.
