We are building a team to provide world-class innovative, creative and efficient business services to our Firm and clients.  As an innovative hub connected with the Firm’s offices globally, Baker McKenzie’s Tampa Center will provide all aspects of business support for the Firm and its global clients in the areas of Alternative Legal Services, Finance, Technology, Knowledge, Operations, Business Development, Marketing and Communications, and People.

Role Purpose

To provide operational and functional expertise (data gathering, data analysis, reporting) to support the execution and delivery of People and D&I Analytics; and ensure that the information is accurately reported and shared to internal stakeholders following established guidelines for informed decision-making on people programs and initiative


  • Lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of People-related data across the employee lifecycle to provide data-driven talent decision making
  • Accurately research, analyse, interpret, and manage data and reports
  • Develop detailed reports that demonstrate key insights to leadership, advance recommendations for improvements, and directly address the stakeholders’ objectives for a variety of internal talent processes
  • Partner with leadership, People and other users in providing support on a variety of recurring and ad-hoc data/report requests
  • Review the input and output of data to ensure reporting accuracy and collaborate with People Systems to maintain data integrity
  • Coordinate, support, and manage scheduled reports, interface and coordinate issues with other internal and external systems
  • Collaborate with internal clients for current and future configuration of Talent-related reports. Lead and/or participate in configuration meetings
  • Develop standard and customized talent reports for Operations leaders and HR team
  • Lead and/or participate in projects related to talent management and development
  • Design, deploy, and manage survey to support and supplement talent practices and processes and to secure business intelligence
  • Analyse surveys and present meaningful reports and recommendation for business decisions
  • Perform other functions as may be assigned by immediate manager from time to time

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Statistics, Social Sciences, or other relevant courses, or equivalent work experience
  • Good relevant experience in People Research, Analytics and Reporting (or other related quantitative/qualitative analysis roles)
  • Deep domain knowledge in most HR practices and processes, data flow, and management, preferably proven functional knowledge on D&I programs, succession planning, and leadership
  • Advanced proficiency or practical knowledge in data analysis tools (MS Excel, SPSS, R, JASP, etc.) and presentation/visualization tools (Word, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience and proficiency in business/process analysis, developing standard metrics/dashboards, and workforce plans in a multinational or global organizations, preferably from professional services organizations
  • Excellent executive presentation skills – should have the ability to distil and present actionable information derived from complex data
  • Experience in process redesign and project management
  • Working knowledge of data privacy law
  • Experience working in a shared services/captive environment is preferable
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
