The Project Manager I is responsible for overseeing all work involved in an implementation in our products for small and medium customers. The Project Manager works with the team and the customer to ensure that all project tasks are planned and prioritized to meet all scheduled milestones and deadlines. This position is vital to the success of each implementation for our growing customer base.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create an initial plan using current forms and tools and work with Project team and customer(s) to resolve plan discrepancies.
Start the Operations Assessment documentation with information obtained during Intro and Kick off meetings.
Work with the implementation staff and customers to develop and communicate Best Practices to ensure project timelines, custom workflows and any risks to the project plan are identified and rectified
Operate as the single point of contact for all departments and ensure that team members prioritize customer requests and provide implementation time estimates and project planning
Manage the project using all the features of the program as needed to include Activities, Risks, Milestones and Tasks. Ensure that all fields are complete and accurate throughout the life of the project
Document all time in Salesforce and approve timecards and expense reports on a daily basis. Ensure that all are in and approved before the designated deadlines
Provide direction for team members to meet project plan deliverables
Monitor and manage risks/opportunities in meeting departmental and customer deployment project deliverables
Work with customers to ensure effective utilization of the product by performing weekly calls with the customer and recommending solutions installations

When necessary, communicate with the Implementation Consultant, Trainer, customer or other team members to realign expectations and resolve issues quickly
BA degree or equivalent work experience
2-4 years in Implementation Consultant or similar role
2-4 years in training
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple competing priorities
Strong project management capabilities and experience
Strong capability to adapt and thrive in change
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong creative problem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box
Capability to thrive without structure and be self-driven
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio and/or PMP certification is a strong plus
Previous healthcare experience is a plus
Work Environment/Physical Demands
While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the work day
This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a key board the majority of their work day
This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as, in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices
The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
The work environment is an open room with other associates and noise from others will be part of the regular work day
