We are currently searching for a Marketing Manager to join our team. We are open to considering candidates for our offices in Mayfield Village, OH; Akron, OH and Tampa, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Marketing Manager leads, plans and implements marketing programs and initiatives for the firm.

Essential Functions:

  • Own internal client relationships for lines of business, practices, offices or other stakeholder groups; assist in setting strategic direction for those groups
  • Negotiate firmwide advertising buys and manage the submission of creative according to editorial deadlines
  • Oversee the submission of awards and resulting PR efforts
  • Work closely with Content Director to set annual content calendar
  • Oversee the development of content in order to drive our lead generation program
  • Ensure that internal clients are submitting thought leadership in keeping with the editorial calendar
  • Provide sales operation support – providing research and follow up for the firm’s business development professionals
  • Ensure that marketing activities support client needs throughout the client lifecycle – from new client onboarding to client satisfaction surveys
  • Leverage email marketing campaigns to engage clients and prospects and to advance marketing programs and initiatives
  • Plan and produce events that support our firm goals
  • Review and manage sponsorship requests
  • Assist in the creation of video content to support marketing efforts
  • Work closely with CMO to ensure that all firm branding is consistent and branded materials are refreshed regularly

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Integrated Communications or similar field
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B
  • Strong marketing acumen, especially in terms of marketing strategy
  • Proactive strategic thinker
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Natural client service orientation and can-do attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office <x{(}>(</x{(}>Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Comfortable with a variety of CRM, CMS, marketing automation and social platforms; Hubspot experience is a plus
  • Production design <x{(}>(</x{(}>Photoshop or InDesign) is also a plus
