IT Analyst II- Inventory Management  (1800016V)

Description

 

Under the minimal supervision of a manager or director and according to established policy and procedures, the Analyst II performs complex system planning, development and coordination of assigned applications and/or projects. Its overall structure will be compose of 70% function and 30% technical having a foundation of application functionality and an understanding of People Tools (no coding). Directly interacts with assigned department managers and staff to provide automation services in support of department’s strategic and operational objectives. Ensures development of training materials, production of continuity workbooks, documentation of standard operating procedures and user checklists. Serves as the contact and liaison with user community and vendor. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Assists with supporting PeopleSoft Functionality within FSCM, with a focus on Supply Chain and/or Inventory Management
  • Plans, coordinates, develops and provides appropriate training/guidance to End Users
  • Resolves Production issues.
  • Participates in department and hospital task forces, focus groups and/or committees as assigned by their supervisor to meet the group objectives.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or similar fields of study.
  • Two (2) years or more years of recent experience in PeopleSoft HCM or PeopleSoft FSCM as a Functional Analyst is recommended.
  • Active participant in at least one Implementations and/or Upgrades—should understand the premise behind a PUM.
  • Operational knowledge of PeopleSoft v9.2 and People Tools v8.5X under a healthcare and/or public field extremely desirable.
  • A successful systems analyst must acquire four skills: analytical, technical, managerial and interpersonal.
  • Effective communication skills across different divisions.

Additional Skills Preferred.

  • Knowledge of GHX or other exchanges.
  • Experience writing FDDs and TDDs.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft’s Testing Methodology.
  • Experience writing Test Scripts and Scenarios – UPK knowledge.
