Vector Solutions is looking for a Marketing Director to lead the marketing efforts inside our Commercial Business Unit. The Commercial Marketing Director will be a strong, strategic leader who is ready to roll up their sleeves and execute. This role will manage a field marketing team focused on driving incremental Annualized Contract Value (ACV) by articulating the Vector Solutions value proposition and product portfolio to highly targeted industries in the Engineering and Industrial sectors. Utilizing digital, brand, and operations resources inside Vector, the field marketing team will develop strategies and lead generation campaigns to attract new logos, expand or retain customers, and launch new products, features and functionality.


  • Work closely with Commercial leader to identify and drive KPIs to drive growth. Other key stakeholders to ensure success will include SDR and Industrial/AEC sales leaders.
  • Define and execute a marketing strategy to drive customer growth and revenue for the Commercial Business Unit
  • Define and direct ROI-based marketing programs for demand creation and lead generation through web, email, advertising, event, social, and other channels
  • Partner closely with Corporate Digital, Brand and Operations functions to execute on strategy, optimize results, and refine program
  • Ensure sales team is armed with engaging and impactful marketing materials (fliers, brochures, email templates, proposals, etc.)
  • Identify industry-specific advertising, thought leadership and tradeshow/event opportunities for lead generation and brand awareness in our Commercial sectors
  • Develop and execute overall eCommerce marketing strategy to drive fast-paced and ongoing growth in subscription revenue to individuals
  • Direct content marketing strategy and build editorial calendars
  • Interface with marketing operations for lead tracking and management and development of tools
  • Develop and manage a marketing budget and successfully execute against defined metrics
  • Maintain deep understanding of industry verticals, and manage buyer and influencer personas


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 10+ years of experience planning and executing B2B and B2C marketing programs
  • Proven track record of success in a senior marketing roleStrong project management and communication skills
  • Experience marketing within various industrial manufacturing sectors or engineering industry a plus
  • A willingness to be a hands-on producer when necessary
  • Self-motivated, pays careful attention to detail, has exceptional organizational skills, can multi-task, and prefers to work in a fast-paced environment
