Consumer Insights Analyst

Bloomin’ Brands is hiring a Consumer Insights Analyst

Summary

The Consumer Insights Analyst will report to the Manager, Strategy & Insights for our Customer Obsessed Team.  This individual will become an expert on the “Voice of the Consumer” by collecting, analyzing, and reporting information critical to creating and delivering memorable guest experiences. Primary responsibilities include management of the internal guest satisfaction study, management of third-party brand tracker and the analysis & reporting of key business performance metrics. This person will leverage third-party syndicated data to develop a comprehensive view of casual dining category,

customer profile and occasions.

Responsible for:

· Insight Cultivation – Analyze and interpret research data to provide proactive, actionable, and meaningful insights.

· Data-Driven Narratives – Champion the voice of the customer by translating consumer insights into compelling narratives to influence decision making of brand leaders.

· Competitive Benchmarking – Analyze third party brand health metrics comparing performance of BBI brand portfolio vs target competitors to inform Marketing & Operational tactics to increase traffic and improve brand loyalty.

· Guest Satisfaction — Manage internal guest satisfaction program. Manage survey updates, maintain reporting dashboards, present quarterly performance metrics.

· Category Insights — Leverage third party and internal data to identify how consumer & industry insights may impact key business initiatives.

· Digital Forward — Manage social media customer listening tools to identify drivers of customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction.

Experience/Skills:

· Bachelor degree in marketing, business or analytics.

· 3-5 years of competitive intelligence analytics. Technomic or NPD Crest a plus.

· Experience managing a variety of projects simultaneously and producing high-quality deliverables under tight timelines in a dynamic unstructured environment with limited supervision.

· Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities; with keen attention to detail.

·  2 – 3 years’ experience with Excel for data exploration, visualization, and reporting, preferably Power BI
