Citi is hiring a Data Visualization Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence (Analytics and Reporting):

• Create management reporting solutions in the form of dashboards and management reports, highlighting deviating and performing Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators
• Work with business partners and stakeholders to understand data challenges and implement solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce reliance upon manual processes and end user computing tools
• Implement robust data quality controls, to ensure safety and soundness of data reporting
• Gather and translate business requirements to user stories and technology requirements
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of key changes to the business by leading change management processes
• Develop analytics and reporting to track effectiveness of process and identify potential process improvements
• Contribute to developing process Workflow improvements
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Communicate actionable insights using data, often for a non-technical audience

Program Management:

• Perform work necessary to achieve the team’s objectives and deliver management information (“MI”) strategy program’s benefits
• Collaborate across Markets teams to identify process improvements, and propose and implement modifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline
• Minimum of 2-5 years working with complex data driven, technology enabled, application/software design programs
• Strong coding / scripting knowledge and expertise design business intelligence solutions
• Good understanding of business intelligence project/program management principles to help drive organizational results

Competencies:

• Proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, & segmentation
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
• Knowledge of big data ecosystems (e.g. Hadoop, Apache  Spark, Hive, Impala), SQL, data warehousing and data modelling a strong plus
• Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, Python, KNIME
• Critical thinking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to remain up to date with the latest technology developments, curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, innovation, and digital tools
• Ability to collaborate across products, functions & technology teams
• Good written & verbal communication, problem solving skills
• Strong customer service skills
