Bloomin’ Brands is hiring a Manager of Consumer Insights
Summary
As an internal custom and syndicated research specialist and consultant, the Manager will be a key business partner in the development of brand and marketing strategies in support of Bloomin’ Brands Inc, portfolio of brands. They will be responsible for leading research informing Brand and Customer strategies and working with the Director of Consumer Insights in devising and implementing quality research and offering strong decision-making support, based on compelling consumer insights and a thorough understanding of the rapidly changing competitive landscape. This candidate will be an expert in research methodologies to support the development of Brand Positioning, Customer Segmentation, Advertising Strategy and Experience Optimization across traditional & digital channels. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for getting to and sharing, deep differentiated insights.

Research & Insights Expertise
* Extensive knowledge of Insights strategy and how to translate consumer insights into successful business initiatives.
* Must have experience crafting and presenting research results to executive level leadership.
* Must have expertise in custom research including brand health tracking, customer satisfaction, new product testing, concept development and testing, marketing and creative testing methodologies, pricing research, and others.
* Build strong relationships and foster teamwork among agencies, suppliers and team mates to achieve actionable results.
* Ability to identify and implement where change is needed.
Business Impact
* Proven track record successfully leveraging consumer insights to drive business results as part of a cross functional working
environment.
* Possesses ability to transform data into compelling narratives communicating findings to guide brand strategy and execution.
* Exhibits courage, confidence and proficiency presenting research results to senior leadership.
Requirements
* 7+ years escalating Consumer Insights or Market Research experience
* Proven success record of translating consumer research into actionable recommendations leading to growth in sales and market share
* A thorough understanding of market research that can be presented to a wide range of stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate market research to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience with Excel, Survey Tools, PowerBI, Qualtrics, and visualization tools
* Thorough understanding of market research techniques
Education:
* Bachelors Degree in Market Research, Social Science Research, Business/Marketing, or related degree
