About the Work
Our Human Resources Team is seeking a full-time Senior HR Generalist to join our growth-oriented staffing tech company. We are seeking a positive, self-motivated person who enjoys multi-tasking and learning on the job. You are a curious problem solver who can develop strong partnerships and collaborative relationships with colleagues, employees, and leaders. You are an excellent communicator and exercise good judgment. You operate with a high degree of professionalism, detail, responsiveness and confidentiality. You seek to understand employee and business needs to create balanced solutions.
As a Sr. HR Generalist, you will have responsibility for providing daily human resources support to multiple business areas. You will provide operational consultative support to business managers and their teams; equipping managers with the tools and techniques to manage staff in alignment with Gale’s philosophies, policies, practices, and programs. You will also direct employees to tools and resources they need to do their jobs effectively, develop their skills, and manage their careers. You will oversee the day-to-day administration and execution of human resources policies and programs, such as onboarding/offboarding, performance management/employee relations, training, compensation, and benefits. You will partner closely with our Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Operational, Corporate and Clinical teams in support of company-wide initiatives, business needs, and enrichment programs.
In this role, you will…
- Coach supervisors and managers to develop clear priorities and development plans, provide coaching and feedback during the year, and evaluate individual and group performance
- Participate in the development of a formal performance management program
- Facilitate performance management and calibration for reviews and merit process
- Coach supervisors and managers on minor employee relations issues and escalates when needed
- Provide talent and workforce related data, advice, and solutions for business planning efforts
- Support managers in solving people-related business challenges by understanding local issues, considering possible alternatives, and taking action quickly and efficiently.
- Coach managers in assessing and developing talent and participate in actions to build organizational bench strength
- Act as a resource to employees on career development. May help facilitate talent review and succession planning processes
- Serve as primary point of contact for leaders, supervisors and employees
- Support HR team projects as needed
- Attends and participates in ongoing monthly and quarterly meetings
Who you are…
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant field of study required
- 5 or more years of Human Resource Generalist experience required
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification required
- Experience working with HRIS’. Experience working with UKG highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, programs, and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills
- Ability to understand business needs and how to leverage human resources expertise to meet those needs
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
- Solid analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Ability to shift work focus and manage multiple priorities
