Sales Director
XTEND Defense is hiring a Sales Director
Summary
XTEND, is on a mission to increase the combat effectiveness of remote operators by developing remotely actable multi-robot missions. We revolutionize military operations and ensure the safety of fighters through advanced technology. We are seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Sales Director to lead our growth in the US Department of Defense (DoD) market.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with General Manager, Global Teams, experts in local markets, and technology partners to create unified offerings to customers
- Work with new and existing clients to build a pipeline and secure new sales opportunities
- Nurture relationships with DoD end-users and partners to drive growth in key mission areas
- Coordinates accurate responses and the final delivery of detailed Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Provides accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Provides market feedback to the management team to optimize sales strategy and positioning
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience with sales activities and pursuits, including business development, proposals, statements of work, and revenue targets of $20M+
- Minimum 10 years experience in the defense industry
- Bachelor’s Degree – Must. MBA or equivalent – Advantage
- Proven track record of overachieving quotas or equivalent measure metrics
- Proven track record of successful and systematic government solicitations submissions.
- Experienced in working in hardware and product companies
- Proven history of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Experience in technology solutions and products
- Experience selling to government
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Analytical thinker with the ability to analyse data and market trends
- Proficiency in CRM software
- US military service a plus
- Willing to travel (around 50%)
