Summary
JOB SUMMARY
The Manager of Emergency Management oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the emergency management program across the Tampa General Hospital Enterprise. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, coordinates training and exercises, manages disaster preparedness activities, and facilitates interdepartmental and external collaborations. The manager evaluates program effectiveness, provides technical expertise, oversees logistical readiness, and supports the organization’s mission to maintain a safe and prepared environment for patients, staff, and the community. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Emergency Management Or Bachelor’s Degree Public Administration Or Bachelor’s Degree Related field
- Five (5) years of experience in emergency management, healthcare administration, security, fire safety, or safety.
- In-depth knowledge of hospital emergency management, safety, security, and regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission, AHCA, CMS, and homeland security guidelines.
