Born in Tampa but raised in Chicago, a job opportunity brought Brad Barrios back after graduating from law school. He found himself falling in love with the areas vibrant energy and big city feel. What’s more, he was impressed by how quickly the Tampa’s downtown scene was growing. New attractions and opportunities seemed to pop up overnight. Multiple markets, weekend festivals and family events meant that there was always something new and exciting to experience. Barrios decided then that Tampa was the place he wanted to live for the rest of his life. The high quality of life with the easy commute to beaches and downtown is something that he hasn’t found anywhere else, and Tampa also encompasses a spirit of innovation that he values.
“It’s really a springboard for great ideas! I only see great things for the future of Tampa—I’ve seen how far it’s come in 10 years, and it gives me nothing but a positive attitude about how much further we can go in the next 10 years.”
