Metro Inclusive Health is hiring a Program Support Specialist.

Program Support Specialist (Advanced Data Entry) – Tampa

The Program Support Specialist support program staff in recording and analyzing trends in client data related to health outcomes (CD4, VL, appt show rates, linkage to services).  Reconcile RW service/note/RW Eligibility entry in e2, resolve discrepancies, submit services in e2 and generate billing claims to be sent to the third party.  Work with medical case managers and other RW program staff to reconcile any data errors; verifies no other insurance or PAC eligibility prior to billing RW.


Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Client and patient triaging, intake, and activities related to supporting direct care program staff.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities related to ensuring fidelity of programs and services.
  • Data is collected, compiled and reviewed for accuracy/completion based on program guidelines.
  • Data is reviewed for deficiencies or errors, formats and/or complete missing values. When needed for larger data sets, the Specialist will use a variety of advanced program functions perform these tasks.
  • Based on program specifications, deficiencies and errors are either: 1) returned to program staff and corrections are verified; or 2) corrected and prepared for entry.
  • Data is entered into various programs: excel spreadsheets, access databases and other customized databases.
  • Medical data is collected, analyzed and entered into external web-based databases.
  • Perform basic statistical work. Filter and sort the data in several ways; calculate means and standard deviations; or measure correlations between sets of data.
  • Summarize and provide reports to program staff for program assessment/monitoring.
  • Write narratives for monthly and quarterly reports summarizing successes and challenges specific to agency programs.
  • Compile visual reports, charts, and graphs as needed for reporting data.
  • Perform follow up on data to measure improvement and outcomes.
  • Support other programs and departments on projects periodically.



  • Proven data entry working experience (minimum of 2 years)
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office (intermediate to advanced level Excel is a requirement) and data programs and electronic medical records experience a plus.
  • Successful completion of the METRO PSS assessment.
