Description

Responsible for design, operation and maintenance of all aspects related to end user applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for daily administration, upgrades, and installation of end user applications.
· Documents application architecture and troubleshooting steps.
· Monitors performance of end user applications and works with appropriate areas to address issues.
· Patches and maintains credit union systems and / or servers.
· Serves as technical consultant to our business unit for technology purchases.
· Creates disaster recovery plans for all end user applications.
· Excellent listening and communication skills
· A self-starter, who thinks and participates effectively, both independently, and as part of a team
· Makes key decisions and takes ownership of their own projects and is comfortable playing the role of an independent contributor when needed.
· Must be prepared to gain knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities
· Coordinates and collaborates effectively with technical teams. Serves as lead on large or complex projects, overseeing software and hardware rollouts and upgrades.
· Collaborates with Suncoast credit union departments and / or external vendors to successfully execute on projects.
· Advanced knowledge and understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures.
· Advanced knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities.
· Participates in Information Technology Division’s regular on-call rotation.
Maintains knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting area of expertise. Attends educational events that will increase professional knowledge and be otherwise beneficial to the Credit Union. Completes annual BSA/AML Compliance Training and understands employee’s role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program, and completes FACT Act Red Flag training.
Minimum Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related field. (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
· One of the following certifications required Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CCNA, Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
· Experience with databases administration and troubleshooting.
· Knowledge of windows server OS based systems and security configurations
· Experience and with industry standard data backup/recovery solutions
· Able to plan, deploy and manage IT projects.
· Knowledge and understanding of cloud services (Azure AWS ETC.).
· Knowledge Of PowerShell uses and functions requested
· Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN concepts and communications hardware techniques.
· Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Able to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities, and meet deadlines. Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized. Able to analyze and resolve difficult problems and situations.

Good knowledge and understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures pertinent to the job.

Good knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities.

Good knowledge and understanding of all Credit Union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties.

Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators. Able to influence others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

Works independently with general supervision.
