We are a growing advertising agency in Tampa’s Westshore District looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team.

The Digital Marketing Strategist (DMS) is responsible for the successful management of digital strategies for client brands. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of client business and drive growth opportunities. The DMS answers key questions such as how brands are communicated and experienced through digital interactions, and how digital interactions fit into broader customer experiences.

This individual combines an in-depth knowledge of client business objectives, online strategies and their competitive landscape, with a rich background in the digital marketing industry to deliver effective digital marketing recommendations. He or she is responsible for vendor contact, organizing information shared by and with the vendor, providing routine and customized reporting and ensuring that the account team is informed. Our clients must reach both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business customers.

Desired Skills and Experience

Candidates MUST have the following skills, including but not limited to:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferably Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Advertising,
  • Google Certification including Google Analytics, Google AdWords
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Google Analytics
  • Experience managing and implementing paid search and display campaigns. SEO experience a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with campaigns on Google, Bing, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi-task on several projects at once
  • Must have excellent oral, written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with vendors and clients
  • Detail-oriented; strong ability to work independently; self-motivated; problem solver

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in selecting the appropriate digital media channels for different brand messages including paid search, display, social, and video to achieve client objectives as outlined in Market Assessment and digital proposals
  • Performs research, defines target audiences, and develops digital marketing strategies
  • Tracks and projects internet trends, competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities
  • Develops strong, trusting relationships between clients and agency partners, providing leadership and support during strategy and execution
  • Manages expectations, bringing issues/concerns to account team’s attention before they become problems, offering potential solutions, and advising of any potential delays
  • Proactively keeps abreast of assigned clients’ marketing and media plans, and provides technological solutions including rich media, interactive solutions, site optimization, promotional ideas, mobile, social networks,
  • Manages/reviews research studies that yield rich insights into consumer online behavior and key motivational/attitudinal behavior for contextual targeting
  • Assist in the development of new business proposals, RFP and ITN responses, SWOT and competitive landscape analysis along with digital reputation management
  • Data forecasting, budget projection, allocation and attribution and billing invoice reconciliation against media plans
  • Mentors and trains Digital Marketing Analyst on advanced optimization techniques and campaign analysis
  • Support Finance and Accounting teams on timely and accurate monthly client invoices including agency fees, vendor costs and client codes
  • Optimize and manage digital marketing campaigns for clients with paid search, display, social and video promotions
  • Conducts keyword research, trend analysis, quality score management, competitive metrics tracking, ad copy creation, bidding and content optimization
  • Implement tracking for remarketing, conversions and call tracking
  • Manage cost-per-click, cost-per-impression, cost-per-engagement and cost-per-view auction bidding
  • Provide campaign performance reporting and analysis to clients including dashboarding, building pivot tables, generating call reports, calculating and measuring Key Performance Indicators and providing actionable performance insights
  • Customized ad-hoc requests and reports

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000/yr.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
