We are a growing advertising agency in Tampa Bay looking for an experienced Digital Marketing/PPC Strategist to join our team.

The Digital Marketing/PPC Strategist is responsible for the successful management of digital strategies for client brands. The role requires an analytical thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of client business and drive growth opportunities. The DM/PPC Strategist answers key questions such as how brands are communicated and experienced through digital interactions, and how digital interactions fit into broader customer experiences.

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience: 4-8 years

Candidates MUST have the following skills, including but not limited to:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferably Marketing or Advertising
  • Google Tag Manager experience (setup and implementation)
  • Technical experience troubleshooting conversion tracking (pixels/tags)
  • Call Tracking experience (within Google Ads & with call tracking platforms outside of Google)
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Google Analytics
  • Experience managing and implementing paid search and display campaigns. SEO experience a plus
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi-task on several projects at once
  • Must possess excellent oral, written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with vendors and clients
  • Detail-oriented; strong ability to work independently; initiative-taking; problem-solver

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in selecting the appropriate digital media channels for different brand messages including paid search, display, social, and video to achieve client objectives
  • Performs research, defines target audiences, and develops digital marketing strategies
  • Tracks and projects internet trends, competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities
  • Develops strong, trusting relationships between clients and agency partners, providing leadership and support during strategy and execution
  • Manages expectations, brings any issues/concerns to account team’s attention before they become problems, offers potential solutions, and advises of any potential delays
  • Reviews research studies that yield rich insights into consumer online behavior and key motivational/attitudinal behavior
  • Mentors digital support staff in advanced optimization techniques and campaign analysis
  • Creates, optimizes and manages digital marketing campaigns for clients with paid search, display, social and video promotions
  • Conducts keyword research, trend analysis, quality score management, competitive metrics tracking, ad copy creation, bidding, and content optimization
  • Implements tracking for remarketing, conversions, and call tracking
  • Manages cost-per-click, cost-per-impression, cost-per-engagement, and cost-per-view auction bidding
  • Provides campaign performance reporting and analysis to clients including dashboarding, building pivot tables, generating call reports, calculating, and measuring Key Performance Indicators and providing actionable performance insights
  • Provides data forecasting, budget projection, allocation and attribution and billing invoice reconciliation against media plans
  • Supports Finance and Accounting teams on timely and accurate monthly client invoices including agency fees, vendor costs and client codes
  • Customizes ad-hoc digital requests and reports
